Wealth Finishing School™ · For AME Churches
Legacy wealth, stewarded by your whole AME congregation.
Â
“Elevating the standard of business through faithful stewardship.”
Prepared for the pastors and parishioners of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Created by Dr. Pamela Jolly, this program brings faith and finance together to help every generation cast a vision for its financial future, define wealth on its own terms, and elevate the standard of business that supports it. Through shared learning and faithful stewardship, churches build the capacity to believe bigger for the Kingdom of God in community, passing a lit torch to the generations that follow.
Â
Faith & Finance
When you believe in the unseen and have the capacity to steward the wealth God gave you to pursue it.
Why the church?
The church is where generations already gather, pray, and trust one another.
That makes it the right place to build a shared standard for legacy wealth.
Clearer vision
Members name what wealth means to them, beyond income, and set a direction for it.
Greater confidence
Faith with eyes wide open: real numbers, real fundamentals and real next steps.
Deeper stewardship
Capacity to steward legacy wealth for family, church and community.
"It takes three generations to build legacy wealth
and only one to lose it."
— Dr. Pamela Jolly

12 The Torch
Steps 1–6 shape the unseen side of wealth. Steps 7–12 make it tangible.
You are more than your top line.
Every wealth builder carries five capitals:Â
—cultural, intellectual, human, social, and spiritual.
The Wealth Finishing School helps people recognize the wealth within them and put it to work toward the financial future they envision. Income and debt become parts of a larger picture of their resources, responsibilities, and possibilities.
Churches learn to map these capitals across their congregations, bringing overlooked talents, knowledge, and relationships into shared efforts that strengthen households and build a lasting legacy.

Questions AME churches ask
How long is the Master Class?
The Master Class is 90 minutes of training, and Dr. Jolly stays for as many questions as your group has. Each participant fills in a booklet during the session and takes it home.
Can it be in person or virtual?
Either. In person is wonderful, and virtual works well too. Dr. Jolly's research shows people are often more candid about their finances when they join virtually.
How long does a cohort take?
There are three paces: one step a week (12 weeks, plus 12 weeks of follow-up), one step every other week (24 weeks), or one step a month. Churches often choose the monthly pace and pair each step with a Bible study.
What does it cost?
Investment depends on the size of your congregation and the format you choose. Contact us and we will talk through the best fit for your church.
